MEET JOSEPH
Joseph Schiarizzi is an affordable housing advocate, environmental champion, inventor, and Appalachian Trail thru-hiker running to represent Virginia's District 7 in Congress.
As the former Chair of Falls Church City's Environmental Sustainability Council, Joseph led the charge on clean energy initiatives and sustainable development. As a VC investor in environmental companies, he's put his money where his mouth is — backing the technologies and businesses that will build a cleaner, more equitable future.
“Joseph believes everyone deserves a place to call home — and a community worth coming home to.”

Protecting the people who build this country
Joseph supports Virginia's new proposed Congressional districts. After years of destructive and unprecedented gerrymandering by Donald Trump and his GOP allies, Democrats have proposed fair maps that give every Virginian equal representation.
Joseph encourages all Virginians to support the new District 7 and vote yes on fair redistricting. Fair representation is the foundation of our democracy — and it's time Virginia's maps reflected the will of the people, not the interests of politicians.
